You may have noticed that the girls here at the hush office are no strangers to chocolate, especially now that we’ve shelved our holiday swimmers for another season. No sooner had the weather turned that little bit colder than was a box of brownies ordered, but it seems like we’re not the only ones loving them at the moment…
Gower Cottage Brownies are so good that they’ve recently been awarded as one of the Smarta 100, a celebration of the most resourceful, original, exciting and disruptive small businesses in the UK. Already listed in the Top 100 Social Brands (alongside Dell and Starbucks) founder Kate Jenkins can now add being in Smarta’s Top 5 for Marketing to her list of accolades. Follow this with coming runner-up for Best Independent in the Observer Food Monthly Awards 2011 and a Great Taste award earlier on in the year, all well-deserved recognition. They say that the proof is in the pudding and let’s just say our box wasn’t around for long. Congratulations Kate on two more fantastic awards!
