Nowhere does Christmas like London, so here’s how we’d make the most of a day in London at this time of year…
First things first, shopping! Get gourmet treats from the food hall at Selfridges then head towards Regent Street, stopping off at Liberty to check out the decorations at the ‘Christmas Shop’ up on the 4th floor.
Stop off at The Detox Kitchen for an energising lunch. Healthy salads are piled high in bowls next to gooey purple slabs of beetroot and raw cacao brownies that taste better than the real thing… Then after lunch, we’d make a pit stop at our favourite Cowshed spa just off Carnaby Street. Perfectly located just moments from Carnaby Street, Cowshed Carnaby is a little piece of country heaven in the centre of London, designed especially for beauty on the go – with a range of 30 min speedy treatments.
Shopping over and feeling utterly refreshed, we’d make our way over the Somerset House for a dusk skating session among the twinkling lights on the outside rink, then have dinner at Tom’s Kitchen.
Finally, we’d spend the evening taking in the Southbank; don’t miss the Christmas market, Christmas Tree Maze, the hit cabaret show LA SOIRÉE or the pop up library cocktail bar at the BFI and Scandinavian Rekorderlig Cider Lodge.
