Hush loves: 60secondreviews - our new favourite app

Trust us on this one - it's intelligent and addictive. We're big fans of lounging (not that we’re lazy!) so the film section did it for us - it has a massive database of reviews to help you choose and each review is just 60 seconds.  But there are wine, restaurant and book reviews too that will have you quaffing fantastic wine, eating at hidden gems and involved with a great new book.

Apparently (according to a survey carried out earlier this year), 80 per cent of Brits feel that film trailers give away too much of the plot or over-hype poor quality blockbusters. But with 60secondreviews you get honest reviews from real experts, so you’ve much less chance of getting a dud recommendation.

It took us forever to narrow it down to three reviews to showcase here (it really is addictive), but you can view more on their YouTube channel - or download the app(s) here. We will see you on the other side…
