The last thing you need when you're trying to lose some of your post-pregnancy pounds is Easter...because Easter is synonymous for me with chocolate.
And however hard I try I just can't resist the temptation of an egg - particularly not one as beautiful as the handcrafted
ones from Melt.
I think I may have mentioned Melt before - it is a beautiful shop in London's Notting Hill where you can actually watch the chocolates being prepared in the open kitchen.
The good news is that they also have a website - so you can get to taste what all the fuss is about wherever you live in the UK (or abroad for that matter).
However, if you can get along to the shop in person, do. It's fascinating to watch a master chocolatier in action, the shop itself is beautiful and of course there are the chocolates.
The egg shown in the picture - a hen's egg hand-painted with coloured cocoa butter and brushed with white or dark chocolate - comes in a ceramic egg cup and is £8.50 each.
You can buy a set of six chocolate bunnies for £39 and, for a real treat, there is an amazing £70 egg in dark chocolate.
