Not only are garden centres the perfect place to get some inspiration and professional advice before sprucing up your garden for the summer, they can also be great places for food! With a new breed of garden centres creating a buzz around not only the plants but also amazing culinary experiences to rival the top restaurants, we thought collating our Top 5 was a MUST for this summer..
Petersham Nurseries, Surrey
With a café worthy of Michelin stars, this gorgeous nursery is a must visit for their selection of flowers, antiques, gifts and not to mention a stunning wedding venue. A hideaway from the busy city of London, Petersham provides a calming atmosphere to enjoy the beauty of nature. Barnsdale Gardens, Oakham
Barnsdale is Britain’s largest collection of indiviually desiged gardens (38 to be exact!). Get inspired by wandering the grounds before heading to the nursery to recreate your favourite garden looks. Enjoy a spot of afternoon tea in The Tea Rooms (pre-book as its very popular!) and eat alfresco overlooking the gardens.

RHS Hyde Hall, Essex
One of a great collection of RHS members, Hyde Hall will be holding their very own Flower Show coming up in July! There has never a better reason to visit to spruce up your garden for a lazy summer. Make sure you bring a picnic (we’ve got a blog DEVOTED to the picnic here!) and make a day of it.
