What says summer like broderie anglaise? Trick question. We’ve used the classic cut-out pattern on these wide-leg trousers, which are made from cooling cotton to keep things extra breathable. We’ve left the lining just at the top, too, so you can really see the lace along the legs, with cute scalloped detailing around the hem.

Great trousers, reluctantly returned - medium weight cotton that feels like it would wash well (I have the shorts of the same style/fabric that are excellent quality). Sadly returning as the length is too short, and the nature of cotton can be to shrink up slightly over time. I'm 5ft9, with a defined curve to my hips. Usually wear a size 10 on bottom and these were a perfect fit (excluding the length).

Bought in sale, lovely trousers, good fit, could be slightly longer, am 5'8" and they sit just on ankle but will be great with flip flops on holiday.
