It has enough detail to give personality and I like it has a tie to adjust the waist to give a more feminine or fitted look. I would say it is a relaxed fit and comes up on the large side so size down for a more fitted look. I'm usually between a size 10 /12 in jackets and the size 10 fitted me well and has the relaxed, slightly oversized look that I wanted. The fabric has a slight stretch to it and is really soft and light. Perfect for spring and summer. Both colour options are great. Not lined which makes it lighter and more breathable. The length covers your stomach, plus it comes up larger which is extremely fortuitous for me. Plenty of pockets which are either buttoned or zipped. The waist can be tightened to suit. Overall I would heartily recommend this. Perhaps go down a size for a more overall fitted look. The only change I would make would be that the metal buttons were the colour of the fabric (eg khaki or black) or tortoiseshell, and I'm not keen on the metal zips as they can catch and also become loose/stiff over time.
