Ecommerce Technical Executive

 To provide technical support to the Ecommerce team in the day to day running of the Hush-uk.com website ensuring that all times the site is up to date and performing as it should, helping hush to deliver the best possible online experience to customers.

This role would suit someone with 1-2 years website administration/development experience who is keen to take on a bigger role within a fast growing retailer. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Raise, monitor & chase all technical support tickets with the platform providers (Blucommerce, Episerver, BazaarVoice).
  • Manage redirects across the site.
  • Ensure all feeds are working as required, working with the wider hush team on requirements for each feed.
  • Build/update weekly homepage creative in line with promotions/stock/email.
  • Set up & manage onsite promotional codes.
  • Set up onsite categories & pages.
  • Update navigation promo links, global messages & mobile navigation.
  • Manage daily pre-order stock updates.
  • Upload promotional price lists & shipping information.
  • Export product range & setup range list in google docs for launches.
  • Set up size/colour filters/stickers & size guides.   
  • Set up & load ‘Complete your outfit’ upsells, ensuring removal when items are sold out.
  • Import/update product images as required (launch & otherwise).
  • Monitor website performance (speed, load times etc) and make recommendations where needed.
  • Test new site developments pre-release & post-release.
  • Assist the Online Optimisation manager in setting up/coding new A/B tests using Google Optimise.
  • Work with third party suppliers where needed to raise technical support tickets.
  • Weekly reporting feeding into the weekly ecommerce report.
  • Ensure seasonal launch activities including but not limited to the above-mentioned activities are carried out on time pre-launch as per seasonal launch plan. 
  • Assist the Ecommerce Team as required in carrying out ad-hoc tasks.
  • Liaise, influence & build relationships with the wider ecommerce/marketing (graphics, social etc.) teams to ensure effective support of online trading objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with a web platform such as: Shopify, Magento, BT Expedite, Saleforce, Blucommerce or other web platform.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Some experience of using testing software beneficial but not essential (Google Optimise, Optimizely, Qubit).
  • Experience of HTML6 & CSS beneficial but not essential.
  • Proactive and highly motivated team player.
  • A naturally inquisitive critical thinker with a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn.

Allocator

We have an exciting role to join our merchandising team as a Store Allocator. This is a great opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic graduate with retail experience looking to join a fast-paced growing business.

The Role:

    • Manage and maintain stock data accuracy and integrity between EPOS till system and the Stock system for accurate sales reporting and analysis.
    • Process daily sales/returns posting from EPOS to the Stock system.
    • Execute the release of initial product allocations and in-season replenishment to stores.
    • Generate and check packing lists for store deliveries and liaise with the distribution centre for picking.
    • Understand opportunities and risks and make recommendations to maximise sales and stock levels.
    • Regular contact with stores regarding stock issues, delivery information and queries.
    • Undertake weekly stock takes with store consultants ensuring accurate stock levels.
    • Look at underperforming styles at a store level and liaise with consultants to improve sales.
    • Allocate stock pot based on sales across the store portfolio ensuring stock is in the best location to maximise sales.
    • Work closely with visual-display staff and department heads to determine how products should be displayed to maximise sales
    • Understand the total business stock holding in order to and maximise sales across all channels, as well as making recommendations for moving stock cross channel.

 We are currently looking for a Merchandise Admin Assistant who will provide the team with accurate and timely administration whilst aiding in the planning and trading of our business. As a Merchandise Admin Assistant, your key responsibility will be to support the Merchandising team.

Content Editor

 We are now looking for a Content Editor to join our marketing team. You will be an integral part of the company’s editorial presence, creating fresh engaging editorial content across a variety of different channels and platforms, but especially our customer newsletter, blog, emails and social media platforms, helping to create a world-class brand experience.

 In this exciting role you will be responsible for Onsite fresh engaging content (FEC) Management, including planning, liaising with the various departments, briefing and reporting on content output. 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Editorial Executive, Digital & Social Executive and Content Manger to generate new ideas and create fresh engaging content across a variety of communication channels and platforms.
  • Write, edit and proof high-quality content across all communication channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Digital Designer

The role will be integral in working with the Creative Team to deliver effective aesthetic and strategic digital brand output for the website, web pages and digital advertising inventory. This role will work closely with the E-Commerce Team and broader marketing team to ensure creative output has a balance of commerciality and a considered UX, whilst bringing the brand to life in the most impactful way for each specific channel.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Homepage + Landing Pages:
    • Working with Lead Creative and broader marketing team to plan, concept and execute homepage refreshes, liaising with E-Commerce and Creative Content teams to manage scheduling and timings.
    • Working collaboratively with Lead Creative on new season site refresh design.
    • Design and build landing page experiences that are visually appealing and meet the KPI’s set.
    • Digital Advertising Inventory:
    • Working with Lead Creative and broader marketing team to plan, concept and execute a range of assets and inventory across a range of digital channels, including paid and organic social, in some cases working closely with agency partners.
    • Everyday:
    • Attend regular meetings with marketing, ecommerce and content team to discuss upcoming content, briefs, launches and collaborations and provide updates on current project progress.
    • Use the analytical reports to influence design and page layouts.
    • Update online look books and seasons catalogue.
    • Development:
    • Identifying opportunity to utilise new channels and technologies.
    • Analysis of current site to help develop creative ideas and concepts to drive traffic and improve customer journey/experience.

Required Skills and Expertise:

    • BA(Hons) in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Graphic Communications or related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years successful industry experience - ideally from a Fashion E-commerce background
    • Excellent core graphic design, typography, layout and digital standards.
    • Adobe CS - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML coding, CSS and CMS.
    • Experience designing cross-platform (in fashion or lifestyle preferably) - understanding the specifics of designing for Desktop, Mobile, Tablets and Apps.
    • Good knowledge of HTML process and website best practice.
    • Strong interest in Fashion and eCommerce.
    • Preferably knowledge of Adobe Premiere editing skills, web development and knowledge of alternative Web Design packages is positive but not essential.

Account Payable Assistant – Fixed Term Contract

We have a vacancy for a fixed term contract (2+months) in our Finance department.

Job Role & Duties:

        • Updating foreign payments with new PO’s and invoices.
        • Raising debit notes.
        • Setting up sales journal.
        • Preparing Weekly John Lewis invoices and journal for checking.
        • Checking and Posting Petty Cash.
        • Checking and coding Credit Card Expense Claims.
        • Posting invoices and payments for Facebook & Google
        • Sage clean up- including working on updating the department field in all the supplier files.
        • Weekly update of Goods In Transit (GIT) spreadsheet with all invoices.
        • Ensure Fixed Asset Forms are authorized and matched to invoice.
        • Updating supplier deposit for reconciliation – USD, GPB and Euro.
        • Deleting personal names, address, emails from all the weekly sales downloads (going back 5yrs – for GDPR purposes).
        • Taking copies of all backup invoices/documents for month end.
        • Filing and scanning of all relevant invoices, documents.
        • Assisting the AP and Management accountant with various adhoc reports and tasks.

Accessories Development Assistant

Under the direction of Senior Accessories Designer, you will support the Accessories team and develop product at every stage of the product life cycle.

Responsibilities:

        • Understand and implement the visual brand language when developing the accessories collection.
        • Work closely with the design and buying team to ensure the development brief is met or exceeded.
        • Ownership of the Accessories team material library.
        • Manage and maintain library for new seasons.
        • Support creative in CAD creation for new development preparation of tech pack (spec) files.
        • Set up seasonal tech packs and carry over TP files for each drop.
        • Generate tech pack file with full measurement and colour/material information with the guidance of senior team members.
        • Sample ownership.
        • Make sure all price information is gathered and handed over to accessories Buyer/Developer on time and in full.
        • Update files from buy meeting feedback, when required communicate change with factories and vendors.
        • Photo samples ownership: chase, collect, inspect and log into tracker all arrived photo samples.
        • Follow up on product information for Pre-shipment Samples when checked against tech pack.
        • Attend Retail trips assisting the Senior Accessories Designer, photograph, collect and create trip and trend summary/report by product.
        • Attend all vendor visits, collecting samples/swatches for material library and register changes to specs or new tech pack files following the meetings outcome.
        • Keep tracker updated by TP sent and sample arrival date, names and codes of all samples from creation to production.
        • Attend footwear fit sessions and prepare full report by size and fit model, flagging any changes to be communicated to Senior Accessories Designer and buyer/developer (in the absence of footwear tech) to be communicated to the factories.
