The Scout coat is cut to a classic double-breasted silhouette that feels contemporary thanks to its slouchy, cocooning fit. Throw it on over tailored trousers, long-sleeved tees and trainers.

• 70% Wool, 19% Polyamide, 8% Acrylic, 2% Polyester, 1% Viscose Lining: 100% Viscose • Mid-weight non-stretch fabric with beautiful drape • Do not wash • Cool iron on reverse • Dry clean only • 55% of this product is made of recycled wool. • Recycled fabrics enable us to use materials already in circulation, meaning we don't need to extract more fossil fuels and can save energy, water and pollution during production.

I’m usually a size 14, but the reviews indicated I should go down a size. This was the correct size (12) as it turned out, as the fit was spot on. The fabric is cosy and a lovely neutral shade which will go with most colours. The sleeves are a little long. (I’m 5’4) so, if I find them a problem I will get them altered. A small price to pay when considering the massive reduction in the sale price. I hope to get a lot of wear out of this cost in the coming winter.
