The bag itself has 2 straps of different lengths for shoulder or crossover which can be placed inside to form a clutch. Leather is soft and magnetic closures hold the flap in place. The chains are not the same length as mentioned by a previous reviewer. I don&rsquo;t mind this as the longer one (which has a short section of leather to protect the neck) works well as a cross body. This can then be tucked away in the open pocket at the front of the bag (hidden in photos) so the bag can be worn using the shorter chain either over shoulder or as a slouchy clutch. Pictures suggest that you have an option to wear both chains same length (make it a shoulder bag) which is what I was after. Instead, the bag I have received has 2 separate length chains attached to the ring permanently (without a way to move or unclip). One chain is too long for me (I suppose good for cross/body). Leather had a shiny finish which to me made it look cheap and it was extremely heavy even before I tried putting usual things in it.
