The side fastener is a wonderful idea in principle, I've always loathed the bulk on the stomach that comes with the styles with a zip front. Details matter, had Hush bothered to put a hook and eye on the skirt it would stay fastened. As it is, within minutes it's unfastened. Not a great look! It's the correct size, not tight and not loose. I'm debating whether to return it, I only tried it on for five minutes and kept tags on, or get myself to a haberdashers and buy a hook and eye. It's quite expensive for something that needs fixing before it's safe to wear out . It&rsquo;s nothing special, there&rsquo;s no wow factor with it, just looks like every other generic denim maxi. The only good point for me was the side zip. The material looked and felt cheap too and this skirt is massively overpriced. I&rsquo;m 5&rsquo;1 and it&rsquo;s not too long - just a full length maxi. I&rsquo;m 5ft 7ins tall &amp; size 12. Length hits my ankles &amp; skirt true to size. Lovely long silhouette, front split perfect - not too high! Side zip good idea. You can dress it up or down. I wear mine with t-shirt &amp; trainers &amp; add a blazer.
