MANDY'S NEW SEASON PICKS
6 of our founder's favourite styles
Our new collection is here, and it’s one of our founder Mandy’s favourites yet. So, we asked her to give us the low-down on the styles she’ll be adding to her wardrobe for the new season switch-over. There are new shapes, autumn-ready textures and some fresh updates on Hush classics. Over to you, Mandy.
The Lucy alpaca-blend jumper “I love the bright colours, I love that it’s made from a beautiful fluffy yarn, I love the way it can literally brighten your day, and I love the way it looks with the brown tones we have in the collection. That’s love, love, love… love!” | The Cordelia barrel jeans “It took us time to get the fit right, but it was so worth the effort. They’ve got just the right amount of barrel – enough to feel new and interesting, but not so much you feel ridiculous – and they bring an instant edge to any outfit.” |
The Micaela cropped sweatshirt “Last winter, I felt my wardrobe was missing a slightly boxy, shorter sweatshirt – something to layer over a tee, show off a high waistband and balance out wide-leg trousers. Luckily I could do something about it: enter Micaela, the perfect answer to all those things.” | The Ava cargo trousers “Our cargos are a much-loved Hush staple, but this season we’ve updated them in a new, shiny, technical fabric to give them a more polished look. They’re a great outfit builder and can transition from the weekend to work to dinner.” |
The Ruby leather ballet flats “Inspired by fashion’s current love for ballet flats, ours are made with ruched leather and a slightly elongated square toe to give them the more contemporary feel that fits with our laid-back aesthetic.” | The Tally hoops “We've introduced a beautiful matte plating to our jewellery this season. I love the interesting shape of these hoops – they have just the right amount of impact to look like you’ve made an effort without trying too hard. Very Hush.” |
