6 pieces to update your summer wardrobe

For us, the summer wardrobe update is all about those new shapes and styles with that can’t-wait-to-wear energy. It’s also about those pieces that can flex between anything – plans, moods, weather. So, here’s what we’re wearing.

The 2-for-1 dress The dream hand-luggage-only dress? This two-ways-to-wear maxi. With two different necklines (we like it straight for day and laced-up for night) you can wear this dress however the occasion – or should we say, mood – takes you. Plus, made from 100% linen, it feels as good as it looks.

The sunset selfie top We think of this top as the summer sundowner: the perfect drinks-to-dinner-to-sunset piece. You know, those summer nights when time just slips away. We’re wearing it with jeans and flats for that off-duty glam vibe that feels put-together (but not too much) for those warm nights out. Oh, and the way the sun catches those gems? Perfection.

The linen playsuitThis one’s for the days you don’t have time to think but still want to look great. It’s got that laid-back feeling we’re into but with just the right amount of detail. (Yes we’re talking about that stitching.) Thrown on with sandals and a bag, this playsuit is full of that didn’t-try attitude.

The most versatile co-ordWe mean it when we say this set goes with everything. Worn together or apart, this is for those anything-could-happen days. Picnics in the park, dinner with friends, running errands. Wear with easy slip-on flats and consider this your catch-all summer look.

The elevated hoodieThis is what we’re reaching for (well, getting out our bag) when the sun goes in. It’s that perfect cross between casually flung on and elevated that’s great for summer layering. Plus, made from cotton, it’s got that effortlessly put together vibe that we love. We’ll be wearing this over pretty much anything.

The staple wide-leg trouserThat effortlessly cool silhouette you’ve been seeing everywhere. Coastal fisherman meets born in the city, these trousers are all about life on the go. And doing it stylishly. Wear them with a fitted T-shirt or vest and your favourite slide-on sandals. As with everything in life, this new fuss-free shape is all about striking the balance.
