70s style denim is having a moment this season and these Rowan jeans are a modern interpretation of the flared jean. They have a flattering high-rise fit which fits close through the hips before slightly flaring through the legs and are woven with a touch of stretch for comfort.

<span itemprop="description">I wanted these to be the perfect jean but they were just not quite the right fit on me. The thigh area especially seemed too baggy. I think a size down my have worked but it possibly would have been too tight. It is out of stock in any case so I guess I'll never know. The length was pretty good on me and I liked the amount of stretch in the denim and the weight, will be very comfortable I am sure on someone</span>

Size 16 is generous/spot on for me on the 16/18 border (18 was too large - which always makes me happy!)</span>
